Bombing of Poems / Dubrovnik
Bombed during the Balkan Wars, Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It’s called “The Pearl of the Adriatic” and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994. Rain of Poems over Dubrovnik was the first intervention carried out by Casagrande outside Chile, and took place on August 8, 2002. It was also our hardest experience: the project was postponed twice due to a storm that ravaged Europe. The project involved 70 Croatian and Chilean authors.
